Ode to Smoothie
I made a smoothie today.
Summer is on its way!
A mango is the perfect fruit
For an excellent beverage, woot woot!
Yogurt helps with the texture,
And strawberries are an essential feature.
This smoothie poem is lame.
I'm sure you agree and say the same.

No, I just don't like RHYMING poetry and I don't want to take the time to make it work the way it is supposed to (sonnet form, my foot!). I write a lot of other interesting forms of poetry that I don't put on here.

Daughters
Bright spots of sunshine
On a gloomy day,
Like rays of light filtering
Through the trees.
