Talk to the hand

I was thinking about something that has been hard for me, and I wrote down the following thoughts:

Abstain because God has told/asked me to
He loves me
He has my best at heart

I can trust Him

And then I drew a little picture to remind myself.

(I made this frame to be used as a whiteboard.  The paper is glued together and placed behind the glass like a picture so that you can write over the top of it.)

The Incorrigibles

I just finished my fifty-ninth book of the year, the audio version of The Incorrigible Children of Ashton Place, Book One: The Mysterious Howling by Maryrose Wood.  The narration was excellent, except for the narrator's interpretation of the housekeeper's voice.  It is a fun and entertaining story of three feral children being brought up and civilized by their young governess.  All goes reasonably well until the night of the Christmas ball, and then - "Mayhem!"
I'm looking forward to the next few books in the series! Hopefully they will be as good as the first one.
