Not done yet...

I've spent at least three hours writing up my annual book list...but it isn't done yet.

We are having Italian sausage for dinner, probably with potatoes and broccoli or salad.  For the last few months I have served two different vegetables with dinner.  This way we get two medium servings of two vegetables rather than one large serving of just one; diversity is the key to happiness, haha!

I bought a warm scarf yesterday.  I think the world is coming to an end; I never wear scarves.  Oklahoma is cold, though...and windy.  Yes, the wind really does "come sweeping down the plain."  You can read 25 Facts About Oklahoma here at Mental Floss...it is a weird state! (Who knew there was such a thing as a "state meal?")

Today is my nephew Andrew's fifth birthday! Facebook reminded me that my nephew Ethan was upset that he couldn't eat frozen chicken nuggets. (He was impatient/hungry, I guess, haha!)  I was up in NorCal when Andrew was born, so I helped take care of my four youngest siblings and Ethan while everyone else was busy with Audra.  Happy birthday, crazy little man!

I've been at the library for two hours now, working on my book post.  I've listened to the "Dangal" soundtrack many times and am now listening to the soundtrack from "Million Dollar Arm," both movies about Indian athletes. :)  However, I think it is time to make the trek back down the street and across the road; my laptop battery is almost dead.

A dark, blurry picture of the birthday boy; you try to get him to hold still!
