17 days

Seventeen days ago, I finished my education. Formal education, that is. Yes, I am now certified to teach middle and high schoolers English. Please hire me! :) I really liked the junior high students, but I loved my high schoolers. I would leave junior high thinking, "well, I'll be back tomorrow. I wonder what I'll be teaching." When I would leave high school, I would be thinking, "I can't wait to come back tomorrow to spend more time with these guys!" Though high schoolers are better at getting away with things (sneaking notes, texting, etc.) and are not as motivated, I just like them better. Before you think, "How sad!", remember that the majority of junior high students do grow up to be high school students...there is still hope for them. :)
In the last seventeen days I have read five books: Fahrenheit 451, The Catcher in the Rye, The Kite Runner, The Great Gatsby, and A Wrinkle in Time. More on those later.
In the last seventeen days I have taken a lot of pictures. Here are some of them.

I went to Venice Beach one Saturday. I found a sand dollar and stuck it in the cuff of my pants.

Tahoe at sunset.

Shooting Ross' rifle.

Shooting Ross' Glock out at Spenceville. :D

Dandelions in the yard.

This reminds me of Huck Finn. Lying in star thistle.

I HATE A wrinkle in time. In case you were wondering. I spent one miserable month in 7th grade bemoaning my existence . . . and that of the book. I think she should be shot for writing such a piece of junk.

I hope you didn't like it . . . if you did . . . woops.

Well *I* liked A Wrinkle in Time... sort of. I mean, I must have liked it at least a little bit since I actually read the whole thing...

I like your pictures too.

Hahaha...I just now saw all the comments. I miss us.

Shall I chime in with the others and say, "I like your pictures, too"? 'Cause I do...even the tempting foot-tickler one. ;-)
